Pulse runs on all smartphone, tablet and desktop devices allowing it to be used on-the-go as well as at-the-desk. Notifications ensure that your survey audience never forgets to offer their contribution.
The Team module provides a convenient method of viewing and quickly contacting other Pulse participants within the same workgroup. Team members are encouraged to update their personal profile with their phone number(s), business location, job title or role and an appropriate photo or avatar. A user may set their preferred method of contact to ensure that they are easily contactable by other team members.
New team members are added, removed and their authority set by Pulse administrators. Certain stakeholders or management may be set as an Observer. These team members are not visible to others but still gain access to all survey information and discussions.
The Survey module presents a customised questionnaire on a periodic basis in order to gather team member's observations, feedback and any other statistical information desired.
A survey is normally configured by the Pulse Administrator via an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Survey components consist of; multiple-choice questions, sliders, numeric values, five-star ratings, quadrants (dual axis values) and feedback text fields.
A survey may also be interspersed with textual elements such as headings and introduction text. The Pulse Administrator will also set how frequent the survey should be presented to team members and how and when reminder notifications should be sent.
The Mood module collates and examines the survey results and presents this information through a variety of charts and other visualisation.
The types of infographics include bar charts, line charts, area graphs, pie charts, spider/radar charts, and where applicable, through a quadrant (two axis charts).
Where textual feedback has been submitted, this may be presented with a "like" button allowing other team members to agree and promote a specific response. Feedback may also be submitted anonymously.
The Pulse Administrator can determine which information and which visualisations are available to team members.
The Discuss module allows Team members to continue to discussing specific community related topics regarding the mood, feedback or could even be used as a self-help zone when Pulse is being used as part of a change management or business transformation project.
Mobile users may also embed emoticons (emojis) within their messages.
If you prefer to invite your audience, Pulse will publish a link (URL), which your organisation can then embed within emails and any other correspondence. Pulse also provides a large print-format QR-Code which can, for instance, be displayed at an entrance to a seminar or event to encourage feedback. Both the link and QR-Code take the participant directly to the specified survey.
Alternative, if you Pulse to invite your audience, we will send an email to each participant with a unique link (URL). Because each participant is sent a separate link, it's then possible to track if a participant has responded and submitted their survey. The email text inviting participants can be customised assuring that the organisation gets the right message across and encourages the best response.

Once the survey has been submitted, we'll ask the participant for their name and contact details if they are not already known. This optional feature allows the organisation to collect participant's details for further interaction.

To protect privacy, textual feedback will be presented semi-anonymous. Meaning, where a participant's name is known only the first name and first character of the last name will be shown. However, you may also choose to feedback text fully anonymous.
